History

With a strong foundation built in European markets, Catapult New Business launched in the United States in 2005 with a founding client base that included some of the country's most prestigious agencies.

In 2007 Catapult announced the merger of The List's new business division First Visits to further expand upon Catapult's new business capabilities.

Today, the marketing services community continues to welcome our insight-led, pro-active approach to new business development as a viable, efficient and, more importantly, effective alternative to the traditional in-house new business model.

We employ some of the most talented and versatile business development people in the marketing services industry, all with experience and proven success in both agency and corporate environments.

Representing an organization's brand via a third party involves a great deal of trust. We put our skin in the game and, to build that trust, we work tirelessly to ensure your message and brand are communicated correctly and confidently through a team of seasoned professionals.

Each of our clients works with a Catapult New Business team consisting of an Operations Director who oversees new business metrics, a Strategy Director responsible for new business campaign strategy, an Account Manager responsible for the implementation of that strategy, and an Account Coordinator accountable for research, project and database management.

Management
Todd Knutson, Chairman

Todd has interests in several companies operating in the marketing and advertising industries. He guides the growth of the business and ensures that all employees are accountable to the high standards and expectations we have set for ourselves and our clients. Previously Todd was Chief Operating Officer of MarketingCentral.com, and prior to that spent 13 years in a variety of roles with Education Management Corp. He holds a B.A. from Trinity College (CT) and an M.B.A. from the Darden School at the University of Virginia.

David Currie, President

David has a background in both the corporate and agency worlds of Australia, the U.K and now the U.S. His role with Catapult began in London in 2001 as its first employee, rising through the ranks to his present role of President. In this role he is responsible for ensuring that Catapult delivers upon its promise to both its clients and staff, to simply be the best, results driven new business agency. David is involved at all levels of agency consulting, new business strategy, implementation and evaluation of program results. He holds a B.A. from The University of Newcastle, Australia. A native New South Welshman, David relocated with Catapult from London to Atlanta in 2005 with his wife Tracy.

Katie Lail, Director of Human Resources

Katie manages Human Resources and Accounting functions. She administers compensation and benefits, performance management, employee relations and recruiting; and oversees all payables and receivables. She has 14 years experience in corporate finance and human resources. A graduate of Michigan State University, Katie holds a BA and Master's of Labor and Industrial Relations with a concentration in human resource management.

Michael Molinari - Sales Manager

Michael works in conjunction with the President to identify, educate and qualify potential agency partners. Michael's career spans across a variety of media, agency and event marketing roles. He currently holds a degree in Marketing Management from West Georgia University and has been with Catapult for the past 2 years.
